The world of pet care is continually shifting and evolving as innovations create better and better ways to care for our four-legged friends. Luxury seems to be the hottest trend lately, but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t accessible for all pet owners. A lot of recent trends seem too good to be true, but here are a few that definitely deserves the hype.

Pet Adventures

A great trend that helps to ensure a strong bond with your pet is taking him or her on holidays with you. Plenty of people have been taking their dogs and even their cats into the wilderness to explore and camp.

This is particularly good for people interested in staycations, which is a vacation in your home country. The benefits to your pets will be many, from the stimulation of new places and scents to explore, extra exercise and, of course, bonding time.

Going Natural And Being Green

There is a rising trend in using natural pet products. This has a dual benefit of ensuring that your pet gets the very best, with no synthetic materials and toxins in their toys or bedding, and protecting the planet.

Choosing sustainable pet toys is an excellent way of doing your part in helping to protect the planet. You can get eco-friendly pet beds, toys, grooming products, litter and food. With many traditional pet care items being disposable but not necessarily biodegradable, it is more important than ever to invest in sustainable pet equipment.

Raw Diets

Raw food diets are growing in popularity, and it’s no surprise. These all-natural diets aim to get a dog’s diet back to a similar diet they would have had in the wild. The fact that it is all-natural is excellent for those who like to know exactly what their dog is consuming and avoid any unnecessary processing and chemicals.

Raw food is a great way to start your young animal’s diet off right. Puppies and kittens need specialized nourishment to ensure that they grow into healthy adults, so using the best quality diet is vital. Have a look at this raw feeding guide for puppies for more information. Bella & Duke specialize in providing tailored food for dogs and cats of any age using all-natural ingredients and full of the nutrients that a growing animal needs.

Luxury Beds

This one is great for any pet. There is a steady rise in people buying unique and exciting luxury beds for their pets. After all, we spend a significant amount on our own beds, so why not also make sure your pet has the very best in comfort?

Luxury pet beds are also durable and long-lasting, so you can invest in one and know your pet has a great place to snooze for years to come.

Pet Massage

This one is great for pets of any age. It can help to ensure healthy muscles and joints for years to come. With senior dogs, this can be a great way to treat common problems like arthritis and to locate any lumps or issues that may need checking over by a vet.

It would be best if you used a professional pet massager where you can. They will have specialist knowledge on how best to massage your pet depending on his or her specific needs and health.

Pet Spa Days

Going to the groomers is more of a luxury experience for pets today. You can give them the full spa treatment if you wish complete with coat treatments, lotions, and balms for moisturization.

Your pet will come home from the groomer’s smelling and looking gorgeous. Instead of being a stressful experience for your pet, the trend is increasing in having your pet truly enjoy the grooming process, leaving him or her relaxed and happy.

Supplements

Just like humans, our pets need certain nutrients to help them stay healthy and happy. The pet supplement industry is booming as people seek to ensure that their pets live the longest and healthiest lives they can.

You can get supplements that encourage healthy bone growth in puppies and strong joints for older dogs. Whatever you and your pet’s specific requirements, you are sure to find an excellent supplement for them.

Playgrounds For Pets

A lot of people are opting to create a bespoke outdoor cat or dog playground. These often include a sheltered area with plenty of comfy, warm things for your pet to snuggle up with in colder weather. They are also great for encouraging play and staving off boredom for your pets when you aren’t around.

While dog runs and cat trees are no new thing, what is new is the luxury that people are adding to these structures. A lot of them incorporate things to keep your pet’s minds active and engaged and give them a place that is entirely theirs.
